The ceramic work of Freddy Gommers is a mixture of different clays ,
porcelain and glaze . Not only in his drawings but especially are porcelain flowers
presented in his ceramic work .
The symbolic meaning of the flowers , their elegance and their universal power is never
far away . It is always there, therefore the artist is making each flower petal by petal in
his palm .
It may be seen as his way to signature the piece as one of his own .
